Daniela might look like an unassuming Italian eatery, but it is probably one of the best kept secrets on 8th Avenue (bet. 45& 46)… one that your nonna would be proud of!

Your hosts Luis or Patricio will make sure you have a wonderful dining experience and a great meal at a moderate price.

The dining area seats about 115 people and is a perfect venue for a banquet, private party, or a corporate event.  It is also a perfect place to have dinner before, or after a show- located just steps from some of the most prominent Broadway theatres.

The most surprising part about this charming trattoria is that they serve breakfast.  They are of course also open for lunch. Their breakfast menu offers great twists on traditional plates like; the omelette Caprese (9.50)- a tomato, basil & fresh mozzarella omelette.  For those who prefer a light wholesome start to the day I would recommend the granola with fresh fruit & yogurt (7.50).

The dinner menu offers a wide array of entrees, meat, fish, and pasta dishes.  The mixed green salad (10.00) is a great way to start the meal.   The best way to go is straight for the pasta at Daniela.  After having visited the eatery several times, I along with friends and colleagues, have yet to encounter a disappointing pasta meal.  The linguine with clam sauce (16.50) is a superb dish, as is the gnocchi alla Trevisana (15.25).  For those who want to try something in the meats category, the veal parmigiana (19.50) is an excellent choice.

The cozy atmosphere, excellent prices, and delicious pasta menu, will have you going back to Daniela time and time again.
