When I was fist given the assignment to shoot and edit an interview with Gilby Clarke I remember saying, “Who the hell is Gilby Clarke?”  That was about the time our beloved Editor in chief sat me down and explained to me the errors of my misinformed youth.  I was given a rock history class in the tone of D minor.

Turns out that I was indeed missing out on one of the coolest guitarist of the early nineties. Gilby Clarke solidified the sound of the band Gun’s N’ Roses. He then went on to release solo albums and star in the TV show “Rock Star Supernova”.
