You may think you've stepped into a different era as you survey the doe-eyed broads and cigar-chomping gents who occupy the plush red, yellow and turquoise chairs and couches. As an air of old time class engulfs this vintage midtown cigar bar.

In the crowd. men who are balding and dressed in jacket and tie and some younger women who are dressed in skirts or cocktail dresses, sit on upholstered sofa chairs and couches to the long bar.

Yellow wallpaper and hand-carved wooden bookcases stuffed with worn hardbacks give the club's main level and large lofted hideaway the feel and old time club atmosphere. Jazz groups perform on a small space downstairs beneath cathedral-like windows.

The club is prevalent with cigar smoke hover to the ceiling and gives the Carnegie club a nostalgic feel to it.

Oh, and the show?

The Sounds of Sinatra: What could be more fitting than a performance by 'ol Blue Eyes himself. (Or at least, an imitator).

The show stars Steve Maglio, a Harlem-born rarity who went from karaoke at 35 to a running gig at the Carnegie Club—where he's headlined since 2004. The dapper performer got hooked on the Chairman of the Board after he heard his songs waft through a window as a schoolboy. He is backed by Stan Rubin's 11-piece, tuxedoed orchestra.

A terrific show for any fan of 'ol Blue Eyes.

Admission: $35 plus two drink minimum

Shows start at 8:30pm and 10:30pm every Saturday.
