Premiered on Earth Day, April 22, 2011, The Revenge of the Electric Car is the documentary sequel film by Chris Paine, Who Killed the Electric Car, which concluded with the destruction of nearly 5000 electric cars in California's clean air program. Revenge follows the manufacturers namely, Tesla, General Motors, Nissan who are in the race to develop an affordable and stylish electric car. Paine explores the entrepreneurial charisma and sheer audacity to invent and market this technology in a world market.
