 The 2nd New York Chinese Film Festival Awards night was held on Friday, November 11, 2011 at a gala event held at the prestigious Capitale, NYC. Screenings commenced on November 8th to November 13th at the AMC Village VII Theatre, New York. Awards to Xiao Song Gao New Asian Director Award for My Kingdom, Tao Jiang for One Wrong Step. The Most Popular Asian Artist Award to Bao Qiang Wang for his lead role in Hello! Mr. Tree, Hailu Qin for her lead role in The Piano in a Factory, Geng Han for his lead role in My Kingdom, and Vivian Hsu for her lead role in Sleepless Fashion.
The NYCFF was co-organized by CCTV Movie Channel and the Chinese American Arts Council.
