Great holiday and winter options are a deep amethyst purple, luscious ruby red, sapphire blue, emerald green, silver and gold, just to name a few. Even though it’s not a traditional jewel tone, I even love teal as an option. It is one of my favorite colors this season and from Gucci to Prada to Pucci, you could see this color being rocked across just about every high end fashion runway. Learn how to wear these shades and look great. I’ve picked a lot of different mix and match options that will work for all different sorts of body types and will show you how to accessorize as well. Taking simple pieces with rich colors in these deep and bright hues and blending them into the perfectly styled outfit can make you look polished, eye-catching and simply stunning. Ok, let’s start with this Bias-cut tunic from Joseph A. sold at Macy’s. The cut is awesome because it is slimming and will look great with skinny jeans and leggings. It comes in vibrant red, purple, solid black and that slamming teal shade I was telling you about. This will elongate your legs and will look hot with some funky little ankle boots. Want to really be seen? Then send all eyes your way in this vibrant amethyst jersey off the shoulder dress from Victoria’s Secret. Great for your holiday or New Year’s Eve party. You can really get festive and wear this dress your own way- the convertible multi way dress from Victoria’s Secret comes in eleven eye popping hues including bright sapphire blue and ruby red. The texture really adds a feel of glamour to the dress because velvet is so rich in look and feel. Or take it to the next level with the multi color animal print option. FIERCE! How much do I love this emerald tone cotton sweater dress laden with metallic thread for further sparkle? Dazzle and shine in this dress and if you wear some gold accessories, you’ll really stand out even further. By the way, it comes in a plethora of other fun colors as well. The Limited has this stunning gold wrap strapless dress that is so pleasing to the eye. Pair with a black blazer for business and take it off when you want to play for a girl’s night out or date with your sweetie. Rock any of these dresses with some platform sandals like these color block Colin Stuart girls or some super high pumps in a blazing color and texture. I am feeling these embossed leather and suede Colin Stuart babies hard as well! The sun will be out-always when you are hitting the pavement in these bright yellow patent pumps from Michael Antonio. Choose turquoise as an option too, or get both. (I’m eyeing them both as we speak.) These gorgeously silky satin pants in a bright silver tone from Newport News are a great staple piece for your wardrobe, no matter the season. They have such an easy flow and feel and are versatile enough to go from the boardroom to a cocktail party when done properly. The cuff really gives them a trendy edge. You can jazz up your outerwear and really make anything that you wear stand out in this luxuriously rich fleece robe coat in ruby red from Newport News. Accessorize with multiple tones for a gorgeous color blocking effect or stick to black. Either way you’ll be blazing in this coat. I love love LOVE the rich royal sapphire shade of these boots by Mojo Moxy. Whether you’re pairing with a dress, skirt, leggings, jeans, dressing up or down, you’re going to be knocking them dead. The jeweled ankle belt adds some extra pizzazz and really pumps these babies up even further. These ruby red trousers from Charlotte Ruse are all the rave this season and paired with white and black, you have a classic look on your hands with a trendy twist. Go for it! Take it up another level in these bright blue skinny stretch jeans from The Limited that fit like a glove and have such a great appeal. The color works on every skin tone and blue is such a powerful color, especially in this shade. They also come in bright blazing red. Rock it like there’s no tomorrow ladies. Emeralds are dazzling, aren’t they? Well, so is just about anything you wear in the same shade. I love wearing this particular green in satin because it looks so elegant and is a great formal event or red carpet color. You’ll really stand out in a crowd of black and sub par shades. This gorgeous dress by Pin Up Girl Clothing is a sure delight- with an optional shrug its vintage meets classic Hollywood. Sweet! Accessorize in stylish jewel tones using options like this great multi stone colored bracelet from Newport News (choose from purple or green multi), these gorgeous Amethyst inspired stone teardrop fashion earrings available at Target designed by Dana Kellin, or this very ritzy looking emerald oval ring by The Limited. No matter whether you’re color blocking, mixing textures, or going all black and accessorizing in jewel tones, wear it and wear it well ladies. Remember to dazzle and shine and this season. All that glitters is JEWEL!
