Last month, fashion icon Victoria Beckham released a new line of chic and luxurious handbags. The first stylish “Victoria” bag was a square, two-handed tote which was introduced into her label alongside the rest of her spring/summer 2011 collection at New York Fashion week back in December. As the owner of 100 stunning Hermes Birkin Bags proving her to be the bag lover that she is and the designer of her very own successful clothing line, a new handbag line came as no surprise to fans of this posh celebrity.

For the making of this collection, Beckham collaborated with Katie Hillier, a former Luella and Marc by Marc Jacobs accessories design consultant, who is experienced in the industry, to determine the technical aspects for the construction of these bags. The first two handbags released were the leather and nubuck shoulder bag and the crocodile hexagonal chain bag, which were sold on Net-a-porter.com on December 22^nd. The first was sold within the hour and the second, within that afternoon, at the price of 14, 000$. Upon its complete release, this collection will feature different styles of purses ranging from the prices of 1,800$ and 13,950$ due to their high quality. The styles will range from crocodile prints, to nubuck, to calfskin, in simple neutral colours such as black, navy, taupe, and blush, suiting classy women of any age group.

As of late, the crocodile handbag collection was already sold out within the first two hours of being released online at the end of December. Upon its release, Victoria’s line was clearly very well received by the general public as well as most fashion critics and celebrities who have either ordered or purchased a bag. These luxurious bags will all soon be available at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, and Net-a-porter.com. The official release date for the collection will be in February. Alright ladies, it’s now time to throw away those old worn out bags, grab your wallets, and spoil yourself with a gorgeous “Victoria” bag.
