![]() Sometimes fashion can be overwhelming. After all, there are a ton of trends that occur on the regular and you may find yourself asking what to buy, how to wear it and if it’s affordable on your budget. Well, look no further. My mission in life (one of them anyway), is to help outfit women no matter what kind of budget while still being stylish, savvy, sexy and rocking their own particular type of style. There are some key boots that are out this season that are a must have. After all, you do know that shoes and accessories make the outfit, right? Make sure that your footwear is allowing people to understand your personal sense of style! The riding boot- this is a definite key essential for fall and goes great with jeans, casual and long skirts. What I love about this boot is that it is extremely comfortable and stylish without being too dramatic. No need to pile on the equestrian wear- this boot with some skinny jeans and a sweater will work out just fine. Dress it according to your own style. By the way, you can get a great, rugged yet sturdy and very expensive looking genuine leather boot from Target. The cost? $40 (and under, they have great other low and mid calf options for $30 and under!) The ankle bootie is redone in many pops of color and a great way to showcase your style this season. Blue, red, purple (my personal favorite), or if you aren’t feeling adventurous simply get em in black. But simply have this must have boot which works with jeans of all lengths and fit, skirts, dresses and everything in between. A classic slouch styled bootie is on sale at DSW for just under $40 and if you want to take it up a notch, try the ruffle front peep toe offered in three colors. ….so why don’t you own a pair yet? If your boot selection is merely outfitted in grey, black and brown, (DREARY) then it’s time to step up your game ladies. Owning a boot with a great print (like the hottest animal and snakeskin prints this season) or bright eye catching color is a must. You can match to your outfit or wear all black and accessorize, matching your boots to your belt, earrings and bag. Great options are the red wine bootie on Zappos. In luscious suede, these look heavenly as well as extremely comfortable. They also come in other neutral tones. I’m also loving the faux snakeskin distressed high heeled boot on shop style. This is a gorgeous boot with an almost four inch heel, but it’s got a rubber sole. Thus, you can wear this in inclement weather like rain and not worry about your traction. That’s what I call shopping in style. Lastly and probably most essentially is the all weather boot. We need to make sure after all that with the rain, sleet and snow we are protecting our feet, not just looking great. Pair functionality with style and you will truly be impressed. Some great options are the fur lined, chunky and yet rugged all around bootie and the wedge boot (that is also extremely hot this season) offered at DSW as well, which features stay dry technology to keep you looking your best while staying warm and dry. Who said cold weather wear had to be boring? Just pick a few key essential boots and pair them up with everything in your wardrobe. You’ll be on trend, fashionable and smart. You don’t have to tell anyone how much you spent either. Look like a million bucks without spending like a millionaire.
