| Jason Wu Designs a Collection for Target to Launch Spring 2012 |

 In the wake of this massively eroded economy, many high end designers are widening their nets and venturing into mid and low tier markets in order to offer their product to every consumer base. Target, JC Penney, Sears, Kmart and Khols are just some mass market retailers to have launched collaborative lines with designers and celebrities to offer runway looks to their consumers without the exorbitant high end retailer associated costs. Truly broadening their spectrum has helped sales to go up in retail over all, which has been suffering in the last five years. Jason Wu is the latest of the top trendy and hot designers to have an exclusive collection and line that will soon be featured at Target. The line will be unveiled for the Spring 2012 fashion season officially on February 5, 2012. That is the perfect time for a spring line debut. Target has wisely and continually paired with some of the hottest designers out there; including Isaac Mizrahi and most recently the Italian based fashion house known for their eclectic mix and match pieces, Missoni. In undergoing these strategic partnerships, both Target and the designer alike are offering high end designer made official looks into the homes and on the bodies of the everyday woman. This is the woman that loves and appreciates fashion but doesn’t want to have to go broke in order to update her wardrobe. This is the woman that works hard for her and her family, loves to accessorize, loves to follow fashion and make statements with her outfits, no matter where she is going. Fashionistas on a budget will be truly grateful at the collaboration with Target and this outstanding designer. Who can’t feel good when they’re wearing a designer label and looking like a million bucks without having to spend like a millionaire? With the buzz in the air about this pairing, there have been some sneak peek videos launched online in order to pique buyers’ interest. If you are familiar with Jason Wu’s artistically inspired amazing and chic designs, superb fit and classic pieces, then I’m sure that you are just as excited as I am! Jason has already released a sketch from the collection which shares the same kind of elegant and ladylike silhouette as shown in his Spring 2012 runway collection. The sketch and video were released just a day after the official announcement was made. In the sneak peek video, Jason’s yellow vibrant dot fabric is an eye opener and has such a lovely drape. Solid navy fabric with pleats and floral prints and classically elegant tied scarves around the neck leave you knowing that Jason has every detail covered for the season. His sketch of a cat with a neatly tied bright red ribbon tied around its neck seems to be his muse in the sleek and simple elegance that is represented. Classic navy, red and white pieces, a white fabric purse with black leather hardware, iconic and simply stated accessories like a thin belt and some boucle and other textures zip by and you can get a glimpse for what he is trying to create. He is truly opening the eyes of women that have been waiting for a chance to own and wear some authentic Jason Wu as part of their ensembles.
